I’m hard at work setting up as many events as I can for the launch of book 4 of the Marie Jenner Mystery series — Dying on Second. Looks like the big one is going to be the Edmonton launch, which I’ve decided to hold at John Fry Park.
Why John Fry Park, you ask? Well, it’s the scene of the crime for my newest book, Dying on Second, so it just makes sense! So, if you’re in the area, and are looking for some late September fun, drop by!
This isn’t the only event I’ll be doing, though.
I was invited to do a reading at the Olive Reading Event in Edmonton on October 10. Interestingly, I will be the first fiction presenter at the event. Usually they have poets. So, if you’re in Edmonton, drop by and see how I do!
I will also be going to Bouchercon in October. It’s my first, and I’m looking forward to it. I will be doing a panel there, called “The Amateurs” and I have to tell you, it feels like a good one!
Then, On October 23rd, I will be sharing a launch with the wonderful Jayne Barnard at Owl’s Nest Books in Calgary. Actually, it’s more of a masquerade party than a launch, so dress up and drop by if you can.
If you can’t make the Calgary launch, I will be at Chapters, Signal Hill, in Calgary on November 4.
And I’ll be at Chapters Strathcona, in Edmonton, on November 18th. Think Christmas, and drop by. After all, who doesn’t like a book (or three) for Christmas?
