Drowning in Amber a Prix Aurora Award Finalist!

I’m thrilled to announce the Drowning in Amber was selected as a finalist in the Best English Novel for the Auroras. I’m so excited, I can barely stand it!

My book is up against some strong competition–including Ryan McFadden and Randy McCharles (two friends and former members of the Apocalyptic Four) and Chadwick Ginther, (Winnipeg writer and good friend.) Looks like a good battle! Watch your butts, my friends. I want this one, bad!

The awards will be given out at Canvention 36, hosted by When Words Collide in Calgary, Alberta on the weekend of August 12–14th.  Full details about CSFFA, the awards and voting can be found at www.prixaurorawards.ca.

One of the best things about deciding to vote in the Auroras: for a mere $10 membership, you get ALL of the novels and stories online! Love it!

Here are all the finalists. Congratulations to everyone!
